Katrina was a storm that washed up racism, cronyism, history, politics, poverty, how business trumps life, disdain for the poor, incompetence and all sorts of other national sludge. Another surprise was that Lee was noticeably absent from the screen. Known for his shameless self-promotion, Lee is mute here, saying about 10 words in four hours -- and never on camera (and you know he can't even stay off camera in his features).

I watched all four "acts" a few nites ago, and I must say, it was quite an experience.
I have to resist the urge to fly to Washington DC, and slap George W into the middle of next..year(not week). I have to resist the urge to run in the streets and yell to my kinsmen, "Bush may not care about you, but Jesus does. Wake up. Choose life".
Wow...
Think how about how I feel, living in Maryland? It makes me ill to think of how long it took... I haven't seen the movie yet... I need to...
